I am 59 years old
I have been an habitual smoker since age 16 & following the terminal illness of both my Mother & Father – who have passed away in the past 18 months – I realised that I had increased my cigarette consumption considerably – to the extent that I had become a chain smoker.
Despite many previous failed attempts to quit - I had tried most methods – “Cold Turkey” – nicotine supplements & group therapy – I accepted that I needed some help to permanently stop the habit.
I contacted Miss Rose @ Phoenix Consultancy in the New Year this year & commenced a programme of therapy.
Miss Rose produced a tape individually for me & talked me through the process of the therapy she was going to use – I was very impressed with her programme & felt that she really did care that I should quit.
She planned for a weekly session over a four week period & showed me how I could benefit from the use of the tape if my will power failed – each week she gave me support sessions on a weekly basis & each time she completed a session, I noticed that my cravings were diminishing.
I finally had my last cigarette on the 28th February – which was the target date we had been aiming for.
I have not smoked since then – I have to admit that during stress periods – the craving sometimes re-manifests itself – but I then listen to part – or all the tape – or - remember the content of the therapy sessions - & the cravings diminish.
I think that Miss Rose was very caring in her approach & to date the therapy has been successful.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Phoenix Rose Consultancy to other smokers.
